I work in healthcare as an occupational therapy assistant but in my free time I am usually out with my camera and macro lens taking some of the pictures that you see on this site. I started doing photography - like many - at the beginning of the pandemic as a way to be solitary while also being engaged in a meaningful activity. Since then it has become more a part of my life. I love doing close up photography - it is very calming and relaxing, a continual contemplation on beauty. I happen to be neurodivergent/autistic which I believe has a lot to do with my strong interest in the perception details over the "larger whole" (hence, no stunning landscapes, amazing wildlife or portrait photos here). I hope you enjoy the photographs on this site - they have certainly been enjoyable for me.
